Project Description: Leo Carrillo Ranch Master Plan design team artist responsible for combining sculpture and infrastructure to create visual metaphors for Leo Carrillo; star of stage, screen and television. The center opening swing gate recalls a chapter from Mr. Carrillo’s book that describes his pivotal professional decision to leave the New York stage and appear in talking pictures back home in California.

Awards: California Preservation Foundation Design Award for Leo Carrillo Ranch Master Plan, 1998.  American Society of Landscape Architects, San Diego Chapter, Merit Award, 1999.
